Fukuda Kodojin | Landscape painting

This scroll has been exhibited in 1927. In the exhibition catalogue, Koboku Yoshun, this painting was listed as: "Strange Cliff and Old Pine". - Signed Kodojin, Sealed Sekkyo.
Kodojin was a self-taught literati painter, an individualist and eccentric. Although not recognized by art critics he was successful in a small group of collectors. Some of these supporters were very wealthy. This increased the prices of his work.
