Otagaki Rengetsu | Poem
A bow of cherry birch wood (Jap.: Azusayumi*)
the bay mountain's autumn leaves
I wonder if those of Dragon Palace
are also drying a brocade.
"The bow made of Cherry Birch wood" (Jap. Azusayumi) is an implement used in Shinto and shamanic rituals.
