Otagaki Rengetsu | Dish
Ceramic dish for sweets by Kuroda Koryo, whose seal is impressed on the bottom of the piece. Rengetsu inscribed her poem in her wonderful and unmistakable hand writing.
Also overtaken by cold
left behind as a memento of autumn
turns to frost this morning
here at my reed-bound hut.
