Raku XI Keinyu (1817-1902)
楽十一代 慶入

Keinyu was born in 1817 the third son of Ogawa Naohachi, a sake brewer from Tamba. He became the son-in-law of Raku X Tanyu (1795-1854) and heir of Raku Tanyu. In 1845 he appointed the 11th generation head of the Raku tradition and retired in 1871, assuming the name Keinyu.
